(no subject)
I haven't posted in a very, very long while.
I miss my old apartment and my roommates. I won't say that I miss LA in its entirety, but there are certainly parts of it here and there that I miss.
So I'm in my third week of school already, and it's going ok. I feel so old in several of my classes, but then I realize that I don't look as old as I am so it makes me feel a little better. I'm still not used to the semester system -- 6 classes?? At the SAME TIME??? The good news is that I only have class on Tuesday and Thursday...the bad news is that I have class ALLLLLL DAY on Tuesday and Thursday. When I get home around 11 on Thursday nights, everyone is already asleep at my house.
I'm still jobless...I have to get just some stupid little part-time job because with all the teaching and in-school fieldwork I'll be doing, I don't really have time for much else. Mike suggested bartending, but I don't know...I've applied to quite a few places, so hopefully I'll hear back from at least one of them.
Oh, and I'm never online anymore (for those of you who have noticed) because the only internet we have at my house is dial-up and so I have to use the upstairs computer or go out to get online. I'm in the process of trying to get my mom to switch over, except Verizon DSL doesn't have service here and I don't know about other cheap options for fast internet connection...any suggestions?
Ok, that's about it for now...hopefully I'll update again before another month passes, haha. =)
