Replaceable.
In the eyes of the world, I am/will always be replaceable.
There will always be someone who will write better than me.
There will always be someone who is more creative than me.
There will always be someone who is willing to work harder than me.
There will always be someone who will be more charismatic than me.
There will always be someone who will envision things greater than me.
I will never be good enough.
Irreplaceable.
In the eyes of my God.
In the heart of my King.
In the thoughts of my Creator, my Maker.
I will still win.
I will still conquer.
I will still emerge victorious.
My self worth shall never be measured by my talents.
My self worth shall never be measured by earthly monies.
My self worth shall never be measured by my appearance.
Because I will never be good enough.
My self worth will be what and who Jesus is.
My self worth will be my surrendered heart, so precious, it was worth dying for.
My self worth will be being the best me there ever was. and if being this best me means I will fail sometimes, then so be it!
I want to be that girl that radiates from the inside out.
Who has been through so much hurt, and will go through so much more,
but will weave it into a beautiful gown to wear and show the world what I have learnt.
I want to be that girl who is beautiful and pure.
The one that causes both guys and girls to do double takes.
Not just because I'm pretty or I dress well, or smell nice (although all those 3 should be me too)
But because of an inner magnet - which is my intimacy with God.
I want to be the girl who has long flowy hair, a straight bob, or outrageous curls.
or anything and everything I feel like for the season.
I want to be the girl with sparkles in my hair all the time.
I want to wear flowy dresses and skirts that never ends.
I want to wear loud block colours, black statement pieces and simple cream things.
I want to be the girl who has big dreams and great passions and have the guts to carry them out.
I want to be the girl who will always love, always be filled with the joy of the Lord,
always giving, generous, selfless and hopeful.
I want to be the girl who is also a women.
I want to never forget how to have fun or be sexy.
I want to be fun, adventurous, daring, new, refreshing.
Yet determined, hardworking, brave, risk-taking, stiletto-wearing, power office lady, womanly mother, loving wife, caring daughter, loyal friend, passionate lover of God.
I want to be the definition of Proverbs 31.
I want to be virtuous like Hannah
I want to be faithful like Ruth.
I want to be strong like Deborah.
I want to have great faith like Sarah.
God help me. Help me be that women that You have set me apart to be.
