I havent written a poem in a long time but heres what i wrote tonight

hugging white lines
placing the distances
romance in the air
teasing the ditches
wheels spinning out of control
your face in my head
your voice in my ear
still steady whispers
dreaming of you
i can't hardly breathe
just you , me and 20 of our best friends
the lonliness fades
as thoughts of you linger
I can't seem to think of anything else
words no longer come easy
blank quiet stares
talking of friends
the places we've been
and where we will go from here
