So...I don't deny my occasional ignorance. I'm not up-to-date with all this Jesus and Mary, Luke and Moses shit. So today when I came home, my dad called me the "Prodigal Daughter". I had heard the term used before, and had already inferred that it had a negative denotation.

The Return of the Prodigal Son (1773) by Pompeo BatoniThe Prodigal Son is one of the best known parables of Jesus.
The story is found in Luke 15:11-32 of the New Testament of The Bible. It refers to a son who returns home after squandering his fortunes; and the term "prodigal son" has also passed into wider usage to mean a son or other dependent who does not live up to the expectations of those who have launched him or her into a life or career.

And he's apparently not paying for my college, either. Whatever you fucking asshole. Go to hell, yay.
