(no subject)
Ellie has a little cd player in her room and she likes to listen to her "Hannah Montana" cd that she got for her birthday. She knows how to turn it on by herself and sometimes she just goes into her room to play and listen to music.
Yesterday she came running into my room in tears.
"Why is there terrible, terrible music in my room?" she asked me.
I followed her to her room and found that she had accidentally set the music to "radio" instead of "cd" so it was playing "Killer Queen."
I guess she's not a Queen fan!

Theo has tomorrow and friday off school because of teacher conferences so they celebrated Halloween (and his birthday) today. He got to bring his dragon costume to school and walk through the school on a parade, then back to his classroom where Ellie and I and some of the other parents and little brother and sisters got to have the party. It was so cute to see everyone in their costumes!
Theo got to be classroom helper today because of his birthday and during circle time the class learned about Theodore -- I'd made a poster about him, as requested by his teacher, with photos of Theo on holidays and vacations and stuff like that.
