Today I had a fish pedicure. I tell you, slowly lowering your feet into a warm tank full of garra rufa fish is definitely an experience.

It was a treat from a friend; she got three for the price of two 30 minute sessions,  so after a light lunch at mine we drove off into Slough and parked up expecting it to be in the High Sreet.  P had been told it was by TKMaxx so once we found that we headed in the direction we thought we should be going.  Then we realised that the pedicures were taking place literally outside TKMaxx in the shopping centre with jsut screens around us.  They were running a little late (our appointment was at 2pm) so we wandered round the shops for fifteen or so minutes and then went back just in time for our session to start.
Our feet were sterilised and we took our seats and slowly lowered our feet in.  Instantly they swarmed round and attached themselves our feet, nibbling away.  It was like having a hundred tiny electric pulses out on your skin but not at all painfull - very ticklish.

At the end of the 30 minutes I was a little sorry to take my feet out as it was surprisingly relaxing.  The toes on my right foot are a lot smoother but they say it takes about three or four sessions to get your skin really smooth.  Will I do it again?  Definitely.
