Back to School . . .Summer Reflections
With faire and school starting back up, for me summer is over. Now the days become increasingly shorter and routines and schedules become more detailed. So, I wanted to reflect and document my past summer, in no particular order.
I'm sure there is more yet, I'm happy with this list.
- Pierced navel with Alison 8/12
- Visited a new beach-VA Beach 8/5
- Started seeing a therapist 7/13
- Found new family doctor 6/12
- First mammogram 6/12
- Second son graduated high school 6/11
- Found local (as in 10 minutes) quilting store 8/1
- Went to the beautiful wedding of Mish & Fett 8/5
- Met little Aidan in the hospital 8/21
- Purchase new Sebring Convertible 7/17
- New hair cut 7/27
- New hair color 8/25
- Summer concert festival with Ralph & Beatriz 7/16
- Freaken HOT summer
- Filled up my quilting blog with many activities
- Lost another 10 lbs over 3 months
- Saw POTC II 3 times 7/7, 7/8, 7/22
- Mourned the passing of Bob (father in law) 7/25
- Got Netflix and got hooked on Roswell & Smallville
- Took Allen to college 8/27
- Successful first day of faire 8/26
- Hand written journal 6/21
- Summer reading: The Pirate Queen, Stand Up for Your Life, Life Makeovers
- Summer Projects: Jar Table Topper, Halloween Quilts, awsome tomatoes
- Help Sati pack for new apartment 8/22
- Hung out with pirates at a bridal shower 6/17
- Started using a day planner (and stuck to it and help make this list possible) 6/27
