[When Poland woke up to grody grim reaper-wannabes, he had two people on his mind: Lithuania, and... oh god, it was hard to even admit mentally, but... Russia. He'd checked on Liet already, but now he is heading to Russia's weird shack thing for SOME inane reason.

When he sees the group of Dementors there, he imagines the worst.

And when he sees Russia advancing towards them, he realizes the "worst" he'd imagined was pupcats compared to what he now imagines.

[Liet and Poland are always on Russia's mind, but that's a creepier motivation we'll just ignore right now. At the moment, he's genuinely happy to see Poland and is concerned for him (something that will later be hard to discern from his usual possessive reasons for concerning himself from the Pact member).

The Dementors are probably trying to figure out whether to kiss him to steal his soul or to kiss him out of sheer relief that they've been saved from Russia. Or, so they think.

Russia's still smiling, and he waves to Poland as his hand clasps around a Dementor's wrist. It's doomed.]

Poland! I'm so glad to see you're doing well. Have you met the new inhabitants? They're quite strange, perhaps a little morbid, but entirely friendly. They are especially fond of kisses! Aren't you?

They're actually ver-- ah!

[For once, Russia actually feels genuine fear for Poland--he'll try to convince himself that he's ALWAYS genuine, and it will work, because he's gotten very good at lying to himself at this point.

But at the moment, he's doing the stupid American thing for hell knows what reason: he's willing to sacrifice himself for his little territory. He jumps in front of Poland, arms stretched out protectively...

And, predictably, the Dementor goes in for a kiss, realizing the fatal error far to late. With a hiss of air and a low boom, this Dementor explodes too OPEN YOUR EYE POLAND, IT'S SO FUCKING GLORIOUS JUST LOOK AT HOW IT EXPLODES LIKE A SUPERNOVA IT WOULD MAKE YOU SO GODDAMN PROUD TO BE A COMMUNIST IF YOU SAW THIS.

Russia turns, and smiles.]

They are a bit too friendly for my liking.

[As China woke up to, the only thing he could call them, demons. A loud scream could be heard through the halls. He knew this place was bad news but now Demons! His luck was going to be completely ruined! 4,000 Years of luck! Down the drain because of, who he still believed did this, UK!

[Continuing his tyrant down the hall, in a attempt of getting away from the things. China sees a very familiar, neighbor. That seemed to be scaring the demons to back away.

Well...It was Russia...The older nation was quite sure he could scare death itself it he really tried. But if they feared Russia, then Russia was the best choice for a companion to have right now, right? Though after he may have seen the demons to be a much better choice...]

[Russia doesn't immediately notice when China arrives; he's too busy trying to coax a Dementor down from the ceiling. The creature's presence has frosted the walls and chilled the air. Russia's breath is visible, but again, he either isn't bothered by it or chooses to ignore it. Somehow, his smile still manages to inspire fear into the core of heartless demons.

Much to the Dementor's relief, Russia finally acknowledges China. He turns, as calm as ever, and shrugs his shoulders.]

They are new arrivals, da? A little too affectionate, but they have a very nice vanishing trick.

[He turns back to the poor Dementor hovering above him.]

Will you show China for me, my friend?

[A rattling breath is the only reply. This is the sound of a Dementor realizing that it's totally fucked.]

Hong Kong has been searching for China. His father wasn't in his room when he came back from the kitchen, and he is more than worried that one of the creatures might have gotten him. He is heavily breathing from running when he finally spots China and slows down, trying to regain his breath before he approaches.

And then he realizes Russia. What...

He walks over to China's side and watches what Russia is doing. It has been some time that he has seen Russia now, and somehow the larger nation seems to be much different from then.
