I have obtained a new journal. I am sorry if my recent replies were difficult to read. Do not worry, though. This new journal is much nicer than the last one. It is much more tolerant of the weather than the last one as well.

Have you thought about what you will give Sister on her birthday? I would like to bake for her and have that picnic on her birthday, but I am sure that if this weather persists, she will refuse to let us come outside. You know she will not tolerate even the idea that we might get sick...
