I need to get outside my comfort zone - not sure how yet, but I've decided the definite need to try new things. Not big, huge, life-changing things, but things to accent my life in other ways.
Things such as:
--Trying out for a play
--Writing a play
--Making a new friend
--Going to the gym before work
--Joining a drum circle
--Starting a more organic, range free diet
--Not eating meat after 2 p.m.
--Not wearing make-up everyday
--Reaching out to old friends in need
--Brushing up on my writing skills
--Challenging myself with my writing
--Showing Dan my softer side more
--Rekindling my ability to dream big
Yep, things like these. Feeling the need for progression without the urgency of it. The truth of the matter is that I love my life, as is, and I am very grateful for what I have and don't have.
People forget to breathe - not physically - but mentally and emotionally. Especially Type A people like me. I always felt I could go with the flow - as long as I could control where the flow went. That won't work.
Breathe.
