Cultured. I is it.

So I'm finally watching Titanic, for the first time in my life, and I just got to the part where SPOILER ALERT the ship breaks in half. (Yes, I was being ironic there.) Oh my god this is the longest movie ever and IT JUST KEEPS GOING.

This movie is going to give me nightmares.

I'm watching it because as part of my History of Clothing class we have to watch a movie set in each era we study and illustrate 3 costumes from it. Since I don't know where a Blockbuster is and Comcast On Demand doesn't have My Fair Lady (my first choice) or Hello, Dolly, and I just watched The Importance of Being Earnest recently and don't really want to watch it again, I decided to watch Titanic.  (We had more than those 4 choices for 1900-1920, but most of them didn't interest me.)

'kay, so this is the product of too little sleep and too much icanhazcheeseburger.

I'll probably post the fullsize version into my devART scraps or Facebook or something.

If I survive this week it's going to be a miracle.

...and holy crap that's the most depressing movie I've ever seen. Except for maybe Schindler's List, but I don't know if you can really say I watched that movie, as I watched it mostly through the spaces between my fingers when I wasn't covering my eyes entirely.

Now I need to watch something funny and not at all depressing.

I wonder if Comcast has Napoleon Dynamite on demand.

I'm like three days late on the 30 Days of Happiness challenge, but I just watched a movie about 1500 people dying, so....

movies, i made a meme, i can't be trusted inside my own head
