I like poems about flowers.
This one I've loved since I was young, its by A. A. Milne, the guy who wrote Winnie the Pooh. It's from my favorite childhood book of poems "When we were very young"
Anywho, I tore it out of that book and now it's on the back of my door among my favorite quotes and lyrics and what not.
Enjoy.
Daffodowndilly
by A.A. Milne
She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
"Winter is dead."
