Please don't kidnap me for this

Regarding the Russia of nation_ask:
Your characterization is actually pretty good! I feel that your tone needs a bit more work, though. I notice that you tend to pause in the middle of sentences a lot (with '...'s), and add thinking sounds like 'mnn' too excessively. I was also quite disturbed when I saw the usage of 'nee' at one point-- Russia-san does not speak Japanese, does he?
(On the usage of emoticons like '<3', I thought they weren't allowed.)

It would be really cool if you could work on that, because that's about the only problem I spot with your Russia so far!

ashfhdfjh sorry Russia-san I'm sorry I'M SORRY WAUGH

I got the tone from the drama CD, which surprised me... because he speaks in a sickeningly sweet soft tone of voice. He pauses alot there too, I try to picture that tone in my head when writing with him...

Though since you think so, I will tone it down for the sake of a more natural medium between the manga and the drama CD~ >w<

the ne... well, hetalia IS japanese, and its such a cute term that he uses alot despite the fact its a female-only useage... its very rare for a grown man to use "ne"
I can't translate it to english "right?" without loosing that cute touch... and in some of the scanlations, they keep it.

and the <3s... thats something else that comes up in wordbubbles in the scanlations. I think of it as an exception... unlike things like "o_O" or something >w< Does that make sense?

Now here's your ticket to siberia.. 8D

Oh and on the use of ne, everyone uses "san" and "kun" too, so I don't see any problem with mixing japanese in with the characters

UHM... I know when people give me critism I sound scary so... I just got worried that your lack of reply wasn't because its only been one day and you have a life, but because I sounded mean? xD

But I am not mad! If you even thought that, I thank you for it! and I've definatly been watching how I speak now, and thankyou for pointing these things out to me... I'm trying harder! >w<;;

Please help me become the best russia I can be...? xD;; And if you still disagree with what I said please please tell me~ My worst fear is someone being like "omg russia sucks" but not saying anything... @A@;;

...nooo. XDD No, that's not it. I completely understand your point of view-- before, I didn't pay much attention to the fact that other nations use japanese suffixes at the end of names sometimes. Perhaps because those suffixes are more widely-used than commentary suffixes? I notice that other nations try to adapt their own tongue, like cursing in their native language, for instance...so the usage of 'ne' seemed inappropriate because it gives a sentence a kind of japanese feel.

(I'm not very good at giving crits either, I think. We're both learning! :D)

You're doing great, you're doing great! Just keep creeping Liet and the others out like you're doing now~

OKAYGOOD *phew* 8D
*such a spazz sometimes...*

Maybe... hmn~ thats a good idea... native tongue WOULD be fun~
Then again russian is so... *gets a headache looking at the characters* @A@

I doubt theres anything cute sounding in russian either... For now I'll just go with the fact that russias so large theres like... several different languages in one place. xD They're neighbors so uhm~ maybe alittle japanese rubbed off on him... Yeah yeah... thats it.*excuses until she can find something better* >__>
If you think of anything let me know xD Maybe yes... *debates*

Poor Liet... xD *Shall do!*
and thankyou \o/
