The L Word
I treated myself to a box set of the L word over Xmas. For those who don't know it's a series about a group of lesbian and bisexual women. I had watched the odd episode but it is so much better watched in order. I have never watched a programme before that really catches the feelings of the characters in a way that makes me feel, "yes, that's how I feel!". At the moment I really feel for Jenny, the girl who is engaged but in a weak moment slept with a woman behind his back, her confusion about her sexuality, but being unable to discuss it with her finance, only cry. That's how I felt when I first came out, confused but unable to discuss it with my friends and family, just cry. To be honest even 15 years later there are times I feel like that.
