Yippeeee, it's almost Thanksgiving! I was just talking to one of my friends about the school play i was in when I was a first grader. The play celebrated the first Thanksgiving...I played an Indian and my job was to present the maze (or corn). Then we all did a little song and dance about caring and sharing infront of a giant horn of plenty. It was good times. The truth is, I am kinda jealous of grade school students right now. My cousin called and told me about the Turkey she made out of a paper plate and feathers (wow they still do that?) for her class. She said that next week they were having a class Thanksgiving dinner and watching the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie. I wish we still did things like that in our classes. I wish we still had big boards with calanders on them that counted down the days until Thanksgiving with little paper turkeys. Anyhoo, I am feeling a bit childish now so, I am gonna go watch my Beauty and the Beast DVD with a bowl of captin crunch. I am almost tempted to break out the New Kids on the Block sleeping bag.
