Notes: This is one of those shorter, slightly introspective things I'm moved to write on occasion. I have another b-day fic for Asami almost finished, but this kind of jumped out just now. (with apologies to Oscar Wilde...)

I liked this fic alot. Being able to write about Asami having doubts is hard and u pulled it of making it look easy and in the form of his mothers ghost/or hallucination?? can't say that I've read a vf fic like that so yayyy on originality. Can't wait to read more of your works. Looking forward to them :)

LOL, I've written a couple fics in this magic realism style but I think I've only posted one because most people are WTF. XD It's all just meant to be symbolic about the way Asami keeps his true self from Akihito. I'm glad you liked it though. Thanks for letting me know what you thought. ^___^

UGH. I loved this. the idea of Asami aging is a very amusing, yet human aspect that I always enjoy. especially the idea of him being 40 while Aki thought he has 35. picture idea being a reference to Dorian Gray, by chance? lovely job well done~! <333

Yes, I used Wilde's ideas but know better than to attempt his wit.^^ It just seemed a perfect symbol of the illusions Asami weaves around himself. :)

Nope, I thought about him turning 35 again today for the 5th time and I figured there had to be some magic involved.^^ No one can look so good for so long. XDD

Hmm, hellspawn or mother... making him Satan would have been too easy LOL. I had to give him mother-issues. Besides, you know anyone who popped out Asami had to be something else.

Damn, I made him spend part of his birthday with his mother. I'd best get that smut finished for him. ;P
