Wow, ok so I just realized I haven't posted in like forever!! So I'm going to post what I can now, and I'll try and be better about keeping everyone updated.
So all of the kids are doing well, Ty has loved going to his new school, plus he gets to be with Addam every weekend and every other day he isn't in school and we aren't snowed in lol. Kod n Zac are spending lots more time with their mom which is a plus. Since N doesn't work she even helps take care of Jonas (with N supervising closely). Shae (N's daughter) spends every other weekend with us, which makes for a long weekend because of the length of the drive to get her and sometimes come back home then take her back. Her mother's work schedule doesn't mesh with ours very well to split the drive time, and N doesn't feel right about demanding it (which I agree with him on) since it was his decision to move away from them.
We finished our foster care/adoption classes and are homestudy approved. We decided we don't want to do fostercare, just strictly adopt so we are waiting to be matched. We have been waiting for a little over 4 months and I'm getting ancy. I'm ready to find our kids so we can finally have a complete family.
My mom is getting married! I don't dislike the new guy, in fact he treats her so wonderfully, and my dad has been gone for almost two years, BUT he isn't my dad, he never will be anything like my dad, and I Still miss my dad daily.
I didn't get the job as a permenant position like I had been hoping for. I took some time off to figure out what I wanted to do and contemplated being that stay at home mom again, after two weeks I went stir crazy and couldn't do it anymore. I now work at a company as an Engineering File Clerk (translation I don't really do much) it's a good job hours stink to a degree but it's still a job where I only work half days on Fridays so that is nice.
