It's the weekend WOOHOO!

Well I've worked 4 days at my new job and I enjoy it. The people I work closely with are wonderful people, there are only 4 of us total in our office area so it's nice, and none of them have a reason to be catty, or backstabbingish.

I'm working for an Oil and Gas company they buy and lease land all over the US to drill for more oil. They have several branches throughout US and Canada, our branch is the main branch. The company is HUGE, they own an entire tower of offices (23 floors worth!), the pay is amazing considering all I do is sit at a desk and scan documents all day. The job is way too simple, and relatively boring and the pay is way more than anyone doing this type of work should get paid, but hey I'm not going to say that out loud, lol.

The job kind of fell into my lap and I decided that I couldn't pass it up because I was going crazy not having anything to do. Jonas is fun to hang out with and all, but it's not the same as adult time away from the house, lol. The good thing is it's a temp job that ends in June which is perfect because I can start going back to school then.

I'm still going to keep my eyes open for a Real Estate job though, hopefully one will happen soon.

The kids are doing well. Ty is spending the weekend with us, which makes me happy! Last night we went to incredible pizza and hung out as a family which was lots of fun, then we went and watched 8 below, which is a GREAT movie! A needed us to pick Ty up by 4 so the only way to make that work was if N went and got him because otherwise nobody would be available to pick the kids up from school and daycare. N said things went smoothly, A didn't give him any hassles, and he even agreed to meet him half way, so it was just a 2 hour round trip instead of 4.

N has decided right now he's not going to do anything work wise, which mildly frustrates me. He originally planned on moving his business over here, then decided against it, opting to just open a new one. Now he's decided he's going to just work on making some changes to our house, and keeping Jonas home with him 3 out of 5 days so we can keep some of the unnecessary daycare costs out of the budget.

I'm getting very excited because it looks like right now we (the kids and I) will be moving into the "big house" towards the middle of April! I'm tired of living in the condo, not too mention N and I got a joint account when we moved here for bill purposes and the likes and I HATE seeing two home payments, two electric bills, two gas bills, etc, etc.

My brother and his fiance and her daughter will be coming in April and I Can't wait. We haven't met her or her daughter yet and I'm looking forward to it. I'm not looking forward to it at the same time because of the fact that means that only a few months later he will be going back overseas and that makes me very stressed as many of you know from his last time over there.

Ok kids are finished with breakfast and N should be here any minute so I'd better go finish getting ready. Since it's such a nice day we are taking a trip to the Zoo.

Huggies,
A
