Would any of you lovely Austin people like to come see Santaland Diaries with me tonight?  I have two comp tickets from the Austinist, and I was wrong about John's schedule for tonight.  It's written by David Sedaris (and possibly Amy too) so it should be really funny.

oh i love david sedaris and would LOVE to go, but i have a office holiday party to go to. i know that sounds lame, but our office has some AMAZING door prizes and i would love me a free flight or hotel room right about now.

Oooooo! If I weren't like 1000miles away, I would TOTALLY be in. I love Santaland Diaries. That was my first intro to David Sedaris (it is just him on that book, btw), via Nathan, I believe our freshmen winter of undergrad. Tasty tasty.

I did! It was hilarious, though I shouldn't go into detail before I review it.

Do you know if it has an evolving script? There were some Sarah Palin references etc. that couldn't have been in the original production...
