I'm starting in a new job next Monday. ...I'm both terrified and hopeful. How will I manage? The job will last only five months and the firm isn't likely to hire me again, since they won't need help at that point anymore. I'm still hoping that they will give me a favorable recommendation.
The job is important - it will likely have a huge impact on my chances of getting a part time job for next summer.
...I bet I'm going to break something on my first day. Like the vase my employer got from his grandmother. -__-'

I'm also thinking of registering in deviantart. I don't draw much and I'm not sure whether anyone would actually like to look at my drawings, but... It would be worth it? Would it? Hmmm...
I'll have to think about it carefully. I would hate to create and account which I would update once or twice and then abandon. That puts pressure on drawing; especially since I'm just learning to use GIMP to touch up and color pictures. On the other hand, people in Deviantart seem to update once a month, tops. Mostly three times a year. Or then I'm just watching only accounts with extremely lazy authors.
It would also be very annoying if no one noticed my account and I got no comments. Because let's face it: no one creates a devart account, or any public account for that matter, just to store their drawings somewhere. People do it to get in touch with other people and first and foremost, to make those other people notice them and compliment them. I have heard that it's really difficult to make people find your account on deviantart, because there are so many accounts already.
There's of course always the danger of someone stealing my work. Personally I wouldn't steal a work such as mine. Seriously. Sometimes I can't but think that even a trained monkey could draw better! And definitely shade better. -___- A stegosaurus could cellshade better than I do. If you are going to steal someone else's art, then why not choose someone good? And not a clumsy amateur like me. If you have to be a filthy thief, then at least don't be a stupid filthy thief (but for my peace of mind, be stupid enough to get caught, kthnx).
