"a nippy day"

I went to Byberry tonight; it was surprisingly warm... enough inside. We didn't put use to the heater that was in someone else's room, but it was a thousand times better than waiting for three buses, all of which took at least a half hour. I only got to stay for a worth-it less than two hours, but I'm really glad I went, as it's always great to see everyone. Not too, too many people were there (7); it's rare to find handfuls of people when the weather isn't right.
My sister came to get me at around 12:00, which was a much better form of transportation than frozen bus waits.
As we were heading back, we got some regrettable Taco Bell food. I got three orders of a side of pinto beans. Although I found an unpleasant patch of beef in the third one, ruining the possibility of ever ordering that again, the first two were quite tasty.
Actually, the time before this, when I ordered food from Taco Bell, I had another unfortunate run-in with beef. They love putting beef in things. I ordered a Taco Salad, making it all specific, but left out one slightly important piece of information... beans instead of meat. All of my veggies sat on a pile of beef. (Thank you, Laura, for helping me out with that one.)

Things have not been looking good, lately, but all we can do is hope/pray for the best. And, believe me, we all are.
