I'm kind of smelly right now.

As stolen from mrs_batman, Because I also liked this:

Name: Alison.
Age: 21, in July.
Location: Kelowna, British Columbia.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Ha, dude, that pretty much changes daily. I want to write books and short stories though... or should I say, I want to get things I've written (once I finish them) published.
Favorite Movie: Almost Famous, usually.
Favorite Song: Maggie May - Rod Stewart.
A Book I Love that Everyone Must Read: Wicked by Gregory Maguire.
Favorite Show: Inside the Actor's Studio.
What I'm really into right now: Heroes, Queen, and orange juice.
What everyone likes that I hate: Um. Foot rubs? I have a thing about my feet. I just REALLY don't like people to touch them. And I won't touch anyone else's either. ... Ugh.
What everyone hates that I like: I don't know about hate, but I adore biographies whereas most people just prefer fiction. Honestly, I'm sure there's other more interesting things, but my brain is just so fried right now, lol
My favorite meal and/or place to eat: It will always be (for meal) a toss up between lasagne and sheppard's pie. As for place to eat... right now I would say Kelly O'Brien's. Mmmm... pachos.
What I like to do in my free time: Write, read, sleep
It's 10am on a weekday and I am usually... Getting up.
Here's a pic of me: From last month, when Rob and I went to Vancouver. We were having a grass fight in Stanley Park!

And I even bookmarked this one, because I found it thought provoking... silveripseity made a post about fully listenable CDs (as in CDs where you can go through every single song and WANT to listen, not go "eh" and skip one because you don't really care about it). I went through my little collection and this is the list I came up with:

According to her, they CAN NOT be of the variety "best of" or soundtrack.

1. Snowed In - Hanson: This is seriously the only full out Hanson CD where I can get through all of it without skipping a single song. Even on Middle of Nowhere, when I get in that nostalgic mood, I still tend to jump here and there. But the Christmas CD is just... made of awesome, I guess? Thus here it is.

2. Unplugged in New York - Nirvana: One of my all-time favourites and undoubtedly one of the best performances of Kurt Cobain's career. Bowie himself said that their cover of The Man Who Stole the World blew him out of the water.

3. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles: I even like Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! So there, lol. It's a classic (and I suppose rather cliche) landmark album. Not my favourite, but the only one I listen to all the way through once I put it on.

4. Desperado - The Eagles: The best studio album they have, in my opinion.

5. (What's the Story) Morning Glory - Oasis: Noel Gallagher irritates the shit out of me, but can't seem to deter me away from Oasis as a whole. Even if they've had a bazillion members in the last decade. This album is all mellow mood and yum and it just makes me feel good.

6. Clumsy - Our Lady Peace: Aces all around.

7. Loneliness Knows My Name - Patrick Park: I love him, honestly, and ever time I listen to him I'm even happier and happier that I stumbled across him in the first place. It's all folk-sounding and smooth and half of it is an emotional rollercoaster.

... And that would be it. Huh. I mean, there is lots of of music and albums that I adore, but of all the ones I own, those seven are the only ones I can manage to get through without skipping one song.

meme, !!!, music
