I use my LJ the way we all do--to vent, or express or whatever... it's our outlet, and our friends can read things if they want to. But (if you're anything like me, anyway) your posts are more for yourself then an audience. I have my real life as a comfort anyway; people I can talk to, cry with, and who talk me down off of my metaphorical ledges and make me feel like I have a "substantial" purpose in life. I don't need the people on my flist to be throwing down the gloves or handing out cyber hugs on an entry that is a letter telling my cats to stop playing with all the shit on mine and Robyn's living room floor. Or in general. Comments are nice, sometimes, but generally I'm indifferent. That makes sense, I think.
Point? I dislike complete and utter emo. You know what I'm talking about. That emo. The sort that makes you want to buy penny loafers and a sweater vest and set the damn scene on fire.
Anyway. That's my short, random, and useless rant for the week.
