Today, I saw a book of baby names drawn from science fiction. So that if you're a geek and a parent, and you feel the need to name your child after a fictional character, you now have a handy reference.
I wanted to see what sort of names it had, so I turned to a random page.
The book suggested to me that "Hikaru" after Hikaru Sulu would be an excellent name. The reasoning they offered was basically Sulu=awesome. Which he is.
But I still don't think I could get away with naming my theorectical future son "Hikaru."
