So apparently there were some small earthquakes not too far from here?
Apparently it's a volcano.
That's wild.
I mean, it's a little tiny dormant volcano that hasn't erupted in 7200 years. But it is a volcano. And it's doing stuff. And it's two hours or so away. And that is awesome.
Mind you, apparently it's been mined all to shit, so there wouldn't be much point in going to visit. But I could.
I know the official word is that it's not at all likely to erupt, but I sort of hope it does. Apparently if it did erupt, it would be a very small-scale eruption, so it wouldn't do a whole lot of damage past 10km. I can live with that. So I'm cheering for it. GO NAZKO CONE!
