So, it's the beginning of the May long weekend. I actually get Monday off, it being Victoria Day and everything, which is sort of cool because I haven't worked a job where I get stats off in a while.
But that's not the point. May long weekend. Meg's grad ceremomy is in about a week.
Megan was in a car accident today.
She's okay. As I understand it, she was driving her friend's car, made a left turn, and... possibly went too slow, because she was hit by an oncoming car. Meg's more seriously injured than anyone else involved, but she's only a bit bruised up. Though the car's probably scrap now. She's taking it hard, actually. I think her pride is more wounded than anything else. She's going to be surly and sulky about things for a while.
But here's the odd thing.
Three years ago, on the May long weekend, about a week before Kristin's grad ceremony... Kris totalled Dad's truck and broke her nose on the steering wheel.
And that is just plain weird.
