Glad to hear life is treating you well! I've been a bit frustrated the last couple of months with my job & life in general, but remind myself it's all temporary. I've been looking for a new job since the boss refused to pay me for that 2nd week of vacation I was expecting when I went to Ireland & Italy in the spring, but so far, no luck. :\
The kids are doing well, though. Sarah just landed herself a job at Best Buy (a HUGE electronics retailer if you don't know who they are) and even though they are starting her out as seasonal help, the boss said he expects to keep her on part time after the holidays. He has enough faith in her to give her an extra dollar above minimum wage AND they've put her in the computer department! Which is a good indication she will get to stick around. He also said he promotes people to full time quickly if they do well, and we have no doubts she is going to shine! :D She's been trying to get a job there for nearly 4 years so she's pretty darn happy!
Yes on the Hobbit! I just know it's going to be amazing and I can't wait to return to Middle Earth. <3
