I don't know how but somehow I got lucky.
Remember the harddisk that decided it had enough of me and crashed during backing up my files? I just now checked the external hdd and all my personal files were saved!! *hugs external hdd* All my personal files the repair guy could not restore. *kisses/worships whoever deity took pity on me*
On top of that I still have a job - at least for another two months. *crosses fingers *
