Michigan Vacation almost here...
Just a quick post to say I have been ultra busy with homework this week and trying not only to catch up, but get ahead because our trip to Michigan starts tomorrow and school work doesn't stop just because vacation begins. :-( Boo hoo. I got a little ahead, but not much. Zack is bringing his laptop with us so I can get on and do homework--when, I'm not sure!
Only two more weeks after this. The weeks have sure seemed to extend themselves unbearably lately. I'm going to get a massage or a pedicure after my finals are over...something to really treat myself!!!!! ;-)
In honor of the upcoming vacation--Vacation Uncommon Knowledge:
· Studies show that Americans travel on average 160 miles from home on their vacations. · Despite their proximity to their neighbors, Canadians don't say that they are going "on vacation" like Americans do, they take after the British and say they are going "on holiday." · The Go-Gos' hit "Vacation" came out one year before Madonna's hit "Holiday." They were released in 1982 and 1983, respectively.
