So last night ended up being me, Katie, Keith and Adam H. at Friday's. We had lots of fun eating, drinking, and having crazy conversations. Four drinks, and I was feeling great. Appletini, margarita, where the fuck did I park my car, and an Irish car bomb. We went back to the apt for a while, then everyone left/went to sleep. Four hours of sleep later, I had to get up for a 9am meeting. Boooo. At least it was productive.
All in all, I had a pretty good birthday. I got $75 from various neighbors/relatives, a giftcard for Friday's, another one for Penney's, and an atlas (from my parents, lol). Many thanks to all my well-wishers, especially those that actually signed my facebook wall! You guys rock!
Anyway, so after the meeting I went to the mailroom 11-4 then off to Target. I thought I'd just be there to key the schedule and leave, but nooo, I was closing operator as well, which sucked. First, I was expecting to leave early and get a nap in before having to work overnight. Then, I have a ton of edits to do, which is difficult when I have to sit at the desk and do everything else at the same time. Thennnn, I found the paychecks, which had not been done at all. They are a 1-2 hour project by themselves! Ugh. That storm tonight was pretty scary... crazy lightning, and the power flashed off for a few seconds too. Too bad it didn't stay off. Took a lunch break and watched Jeopardy, yay. Went back and did paychecks and tried to get more edits done. Chris C. sent me a million and one text messages. The program finally crapped out around 11:20, so I gave up, cleaned the break room, and left. and now here I am in the office. Jeremi is here working on something, and Chris is somewhere. I don't want to play any music right now, so it is way too quiet in here at the moment. Anyway, I will most definitely be taking a nap tonight! Then I get to go back to the mailroom in the morning, and after the mail is done I think Katie and I will go help with move-ins :)
