Another 2:30am and I'm wide awake again. Hmmm...
Slept in til nearly 2pm this afternoon, so nice to be able to turn my alarm off and get up whenever my body decides to wake up.
Went to George and Simon's new apartment tonight for their housewarming party... lots of fun with some people I haven't seen in a long time, and a few I didn't know at all. We all sat around talking and watching tv til dinner was ready... tacos, yum! After that we turned the race on, figured it wasn't starting anytime soon because of all the rain, and muted it so we could play Battle of the Sexes. 5 girls versus 9 guys isn't exactly fair, but we did damn good, only losing by 2 points in the end. There was a lot of arguing in the middle, and a few iffy points awarded, but overall it was still a fun and interesting game. Most of the people left, Simon and I had a nice long talk about all kinds of stuff, then he went to bed and I got to watched the last 20 laps of the race. Stewart, McMurray and Jr making the top 3... I can be happy with that.
The good thing about them living out in Ocoee is that the nice long drive home gives me time to blast some good music and reflect on things.
