"Hi, I'm Katy!" "Hi, I'm Katie!"
Still no internet... still bumming other people's computers to update... what fun! haha. Let's see, since the last update I've worked a ton more hours, lost both of my anklets from Jamaica and gotten 3 new roommates!
Power finally came back on in Phase 2 late Wednesday night, which was great because otherwise we would have had a bunch of residents moving into units with no power! Phones came back up on Thursday, and they're still working on the internet. Hopefully in the next day or two. Which is good because I am going crazy without it.
Anyway, move-in started on Thursday and it went very well. We had to be there at 7am, and I got sent out for breakfast from BP. Never had anything from their deli/cafe thingie before, but it was pretty good. Delinda and I ran the accounting table in phase 3 all day. Got to meet all three of my roommates when they checked in. We got free lunch from somewhere... some pasta stuff that wasn't very good. I scarfed it down anyway cause I was starving. I finally left at 7pm and went home. Hung out with my new roomies for the next 2 1/2 hours then Kevin and I went to Friday's for dinner. We were joined by TJ, Katie and Alex Yee, which was kinda fun. Went back home and crashed.
Friday we didn't have to be there til 8am. Delinda and I were at the table together again, and the day crawled by. Soo many people had already moved in on Thursday so we just sat around talking most of the day. Jay sent me home early at 4:30, but I ran around the property for another hour before actually going home. Delinda also gave me the weekend off, which was awesome. Of course, two hours later Christina calls me and asks to cover her shift in the mailroom. I didn't want to do all of it, but I agreed to a few hours, why not. Helped Kim set up her room. Watched tv for the rest of the night.
Slept for 9 hours this morning, that was nice. Went to the mailroom 11-2 then Moe's for lunch, finally got my free lunch, yay! Hung around the apartment the rest of the day, then Kevin and I went to Tony Roma's for dinner. Came back and talked to the roomies for a while, played Spider Solitaire for a while, and finally went over to José's house, which is where I am now. Gonna end this so I can weed through my 35 new emails and catch up on a little bit of my friends page. Adios!
