The flame licks your finger, but it doesnt hurt. Its a nice warm feeling and you feel the heat creeping through your finger, then your palm, arms to the neck and a burst of goosebumps down your spine. Warms the toes even. Then you sit there, mesmerised, hand still in the flame and all of a sudden, just like that, you get burnt.
