My computer is dying. It has no battery life left (It struggles to maintain half an hour on the lowest power settings, less than 10 minutes on normal settings!) and it takes well over 5 minutes to just get to the welcome screen. Programs won't run properly, and it they do then it keeps reminding me that it hasn't been verified or something along those lines, which I've done plenty of times. Drivers get errors or stop working entirely. It doesn't crash, but it refuses to run things if it just doesn't want to. It's incredibly slow - I've timed upwards of 7 minutes to get the thing up and on the Internet, which frequently closes itself, and won't run on anything but a wireless network, since Ethernet seems to confuse the hell out of it. And now, the CD drive has completely stopped working. It will not read a thing, even after I've downloaded shit from Microsoft that promises to fix it and I've changed all my driver settings in order to accommodate any errors that could have happened. Apparently the CD drive needs to be replaced, a process that will cost me over $100 if I buy the thing and try to install it myself, let alone getting some guy from Gizmo to do it for me.

I have no money. I can't buy a new one. I can't even pay to get anything fixed. It's only 2 freaking years old!

... If I ever manage to afford a new laptop, I'm buying something different. I'm sick of laptops that don't work.
