Finally watched something on the television my mum talked me in to getting when they were here at Christmas.
Sugar Rush - British show about a lesbian teenager in Brighton told in diary-style. I've watched the first season and parts of season two before but this was a new episode. It’s it's fun and sexy and awesomely quirky, unfortunately it's also one of those series were people constantly makes stupid decisions with consequences that you can see coming from a mile away, also most of the characters including our narrator are kind of assholes, this lessens my enjoyment.
True Blood - American show from the guy that made Six Feet Under. Vampires have come out from their coffins and are appearing on talk-shows and shopping for blood at the grocery store. Awesome concept. Based on a series of books which are a bit to romancey for my taste but quite fun. I had already seen the pilot via the power of the internet but I watched it again. I really like the intro and Sookie but I dislike Bill more than I can remember from reading the books. Sookies best friend Tara is played by the same actress that played Jayes best friend Mahandra on Wonderfalls - Tara even has a crush on Sookies brother (who is to stupid to live btw).
