canada is awesome
I'm pimping Canadian media to my family ! My parent's are here visiting which is a rare treat since normally they live over a 1000 km away. Me and mum watched Double Happiness, which was quite good and Sandra Oh was so gorgeous and young and talented and just, gah...she's so sexy.
Then i pawned my parents playing Mahjong and we watched the first two episodes of Little Mosque on the Prairie which was seriously funny, i'm going to send some more episodes to my mum and to my aunt and uncle (he’s muslim).
I've sent Hard Core Logo to my brother, i figure he might like it since he's a guitarist and plays in a band (and it's a good movie!), i also sent him Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami (not canadian!) solely on the grounds that i like his books and me and my brother usually have pretty similar taste in novels.
