HI! ok. things are ok. i am at work! i take the subway and it only takes me 13 minutes from my station to the work station. and it is only a 3 minute walk from the work station to the work.
someone just sent an email - it got through to me even tho it was only meant for Shanghai office people. it goes like this:

Why do I have to know about this? As I am in Beijing, it is just a mean little trick to tell me that there are Japanese sweets in Shanghai. There are no Japanese sweets in Beijing. Please send some.
