1. Attended an acoustic concert/Q&A with Kris Allen at an Apple Store downtown. Hung out with harriet_vane, (the loveliest of people, who is also celebrating a birthday today!), and made an idiot of myself when I met Kris Allen. Got a picture with him, which was pretty cool, but otherwise had nothing interesting to say to him, (this is the story of my life. I'm ridiculously awkward when it comes to meeting celebrities). I will say that he continues to be hilariously snarky and brilliantly talented and I wish more people knew about him/were fans. I truly think they are missing out.
2. Had an allergy attack of the worst kind, including breaking out in hives at least three days this week. Not exactly sure what's going on, but the shitty weather in NYC is definitely not helping. *sigh*
3. Began listening to Kris Allen's and Adam Lambert's new albums and I LOVE them both so much. I'm so happy that Adam has the #1 album and I can't wait to see both guys in concert when they finally tour.
4. Started re-watching the older episodes of Lewis, so I could get caught up before watching the new Season/Series 6 episodes. Like I mentioned before, I wish I knew more people who were into this show/fandom, (I should probably not be shy and start commenting more on the journals/Tumblrs of the few who are into the show though). I just love the loyalty and care that Lewis and Hathaway have for each other and, if I'm ambitious enough, I might write up a whole meta ramble regarding my thoughts about this show and those characters.
5. Have been reading Quiet by Susan Cain. It's all about introverts and their place in the world and there are quotes in this book that really, really hit home. I'm beginning to think I'm a social introvert and it's interesting to read this book and see what that all means in regards to my current and past interactions.

Still catching up with my friends' list, (the allergy issues have completely zapped my energy), and the goal for the weekend is to sit down for a couple of hours, read/comment about stuff, and work on my WIPs story list too.
