Hey thanks for this long piece of advice!

I haven't been assuming what others are feeling actually, because I would not have felt this way if I haven't heard comments from my friends/relatives/ppl who don't even know me. Imagine someone (close to you) going, "Eww! why are your hands so wrinkled?" or people giving you weird stares and you have to explain to every single one of them who asked. Somehow it's really tiring for me and it hurts to hear friends making such comments. I mean, I don't blame them, because they probably haven't seen others which such ugly hands/legs/skin... but it does have an impact on me. Not once, not twice, but several times.

Well, and part of the reason I'm feeling this way might be the fact that I'm at this age where girls are usually more self-/image-conscious? We start to care more about the way we look and how we will appear to others. It's not that I want people to care about how beautiful I am, but it's just that I don't want people to find my 'uniqueness' ugly... I want them to accept me for who/what I am, and not start asking questions or criticise the first thing they see me. What a great start to making friends right?

And yes, I'm gonna agree with this: "The character, determination and core values of yourself is the truthfulness of your own existence.. not the skin and fur.."

Thanks again, and thinking about it, I love the abilities of my hands actually.
