WRITTEN BY ME FOR YOU!
A poem I attempted yesterday/today hahaha. Just another amateurish piece of smth that I did out of sudden urge.
You're always there when my future seems so bleak,
forever giving me the courage whenever I feel weak.
Your positive attitude never fails to keep me going,
together with your support that will prevent me from falling.
Though there are times when you're just so clueless about everything,
that I have to get mad at you 'cause you don't seem to get what I'm feeling,
sometimes I just have to laugh because you're so adorable,
and it is at that moment that I've decided to put away all my troubles.
Whenever you fall asleep it makes me feel I'm of little importance,
but I tell myself it's just because you're too tired.
And at that point I suddenly feel so alone,
'cause all I can hear is your deep breathing through the phone.
Hearing about your past love lives makes me sad,
although I constantly hide from you this fact.
I know you want me to share all my feelings,
but it's just that my heart needs time for healing.
Sometimes I get hurt when you shout at me,
and yes, I understand it's because you're feeling angry.
But I need you to know I still love you just the same,
because my love for you will never ever change.
Have I ever told you that you're admirable?
Doing things that I couldn't, which makes you so lovable.
Truth be told, inferiority on my part often sets me back
whenever I was afraid I couldn't be your match.
Your mere presence brings me warmth and joy,
looking at you always makes me wanna call you 'crazy boy'.
It really doesn't matter where we go everytime,
because just being able to be with you everything will be fine.
Having you around is more than enough for me,
since you're always making me laugh by doing things that are oh-so-silly.
Minutes spent with you always seemed like years,
oh how I wish you could always be there to protect me from my fears.
When the moon and the stars are out and you turn to leave,
I'm always hoping I would see you again in my dreams.
It just feels so safe being with you,
with your constant assurance pulling me through.
To think that I've never thought all these were possible,
you came into my life and showed me nothing's impossible.
Everything seemed so far away when I first saw you,
but now that I've reached you, it can only feel like a dream come true.
