FAREWELL, TPRS.

“If having things turn out the way you want them to is the measure of a successful life, then some would say I was a failure. The important thing is not to be bitter over life’s disappointments. Learn to let go of the past and recognize that every day won’t be silence and when you find yourself lost in the darkness and despair, remember it’s only in the black of night that you can see the stars and those stars lead you back home. So don’t be afraid to make mistakes, stumble and fall because most of the time, the greatest rewards come from the things that scare you most. Maybe you’ll get everything you wish for, maybe you’ll get more than you could ever imagine. who knows where life will take you. The road is long and in the end, the journey is the destination.” -raindropsonredroses

It's been more than 10 years. I will miss you, TPRS.

30th June 2011 saw me rushing down to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station with my brother after my Final papers. I've been there every year since I was 6 years old because my family pays visits to my relatives and grandmother over at Malaysia. I still remember us always cabbing there early in the morning at 5am, and I would feel very grouchy as I was always reluctant to leave Singapore for so many days. My family would have breakfast there, usually at the prata stall, and then we'd wait for at least 45 minutes before the gates open for us to board the train. My brother and I will run to the magazine kiosk to grab newspapers, sweets and magazines so that we wouldn't feel bored on our train journey. Then we'd sit on those colourful seats and take random photos of ourselves hahaha. I really love the 'Customs' and the Ticketing counter over at TPRS because they gave me this 'ancient' feel in SG... I feel so sad bidding goodbye to it :'(

Anyway, tomorrow's the start of Summer 2 already, say hi again to my 6 weeks of no-life days. I'm gonna be real busy it's gonna me panic attacks again sigh. 16 chapters to cram in within 6 weeks, how am I going to do this?? The only thing that comforts me is that we're all in this together.

adventure/fun, family, tprs, farewell
