No Sheep For You
Got my first package from my No Sheep For You yarn swap pal. The swap yarn is Elsebeth Lavold's Hempathy #017, and has an absolutely lovely touch to it. It's enough to make me actually ignore my 'I don't knit socks, they intimidate me' rule, since it'd be just lovely as a pair. Suddenly, I really, really want to knit socks. =)
She also included a pair of skeins of hemp-wool blend worsted in ecru and a beautifully-dyed almost raspberry red. I've got a million ideas bouncing around my head as to what to do with it, but haven't managed to light on one yet.
lyme? Do you have any sock pattern recommendations that somebody who's coordinated enough to be able to put their eye out with a loaf of bread could manage without killing herself? =)
