Some people say it doesn't matter whether you win or lose. That, in the end, all that matters is that you fight.
They’re wrong.
Winning matters. It matters a lot.
It matters to these kids. Even if we never make that much of a difference… we fight to give them the chance to be more than they thought they could be.
We all have our own battles to fight. Our success matters, not just because we succeed, but what we succeed in doing.
That’s what the old East Hills Teen Center was about. What the new Center is still about.
