I'm getting sick of my inlaws view of me. That I seem to do absolutely nothing while my husband does everything and support hobbies of mine that he really hates but costs lots of money. And apparently, my brother in law agrees with them

I can do more now than when you last saw me actually :P Proper pain killers and actually looking after my disease has helped a great deal.

That's another sad thing like... I'm making progress with something pretty big here, and they could care less. And if they do care, its mostly about "How will this affect David?"

keep studying for your license. Don't let them tell you what to do. Your just doing what you love the most. Don't worry about a part time job a Housewife/ Homemaker is a full-time job all together. I'm one and I have no one picking on me and if they do, I say look I have Julia to look after. I have never had a problem with what you do in your life. Plus don't you think if David had a problem with all that you do, don't you think he would have left you? David really loves you and I'm sure the in-laws have to see the good in you not always the bad. There are many house wife's out there in this world. I know how you feel sometimes I fell alone and I'm the only one that can do everything. i.e. as in cleaning, cooking, laundry and talking care of bills/ Julia oh ya the cats too.

There's a difference between being a mother and being just a housewife. :P Normally if you're not a mother, then they look down on you.

My big worry is how David is taking all of this. :( He has a problem with his parents looking down at me. I don't like it when he feels bad.

The good in me huh? ... I don't think I'll have parents in this lifetime who'll see "the good in me", honestly...

Don't put your self down so much. Who cares what they think it only matters what you and David think. Are you not getting by nicely? Have your talked to David on how he feels about all this? Why do you think they are picking on you? what have you did or said that has them like this towards you?

YESSSS! That's the spirit! Usha and David know your situation, and surely appreciate what you do for them very much. Cleaning a house in preparation for family visits takes SO MUCH work. Your in-laws don't see you day to day, so they probably take a lot of these things for granted. I hope it gets better though, try not to worry too much!
