Yet another instarec, because I'm just so in love with this storyline/series:
By waldorph, her "A Beautiful(ly Illogical) Mind" or (√π233/hy7 #1) series. (Star Trek reboot)
It starts off AU with Jim in a different place than the movie (although not overly different) but it evolves into something that has an underlying truth to it for all characters involved, in the movie, in the story, wherever...and her character observations are phenomenal. She touches into some elemental truth buried in these characters, and combines them in an even more truthful way that defies easy description.
