My current book
So it's me again.
At the moment, I'm reading a very good book. And it's always the same with good books: You want to continue reading but you are scared of that it's ending. I hate that. I hope maybe anyone knows that book ! So it's called Guilty as Sin and it's by Tami Hoag. It's the second part, the first is called Night Sins.
First here are the German covers (I prefer the German to the English)
The books are about a little boy (Josh) who is kidnapped when he was waiting for his mum to pick him up after the hockey. But she is busy in the hospital because a woman had an accident.
Megan O'Malley is the new Agent of the BCA, and she has to work with Mitch Holt. But it's very difficult because they have no real suspects. The marriage of Josh's parents (Hannah and Paul) is breaking. In the end they arrest somebody. Ahhh, I forgot the most important part. The lovestory =) Between Megan and Mitch. Ahh it's so great. But I don't want to spoil ;)
In the second part there is a new person, Ellen North, she's prosecutor. And a writer appears, who writes book about real stories and who is very famous. And there's another lovestory. Yeah, right, between Ellen and Jay, the writer. Unfortunately, Mitch and Megan are no longer main persons. And I loved them :( But Mitch is still there and the "displacement" for Megan, Agent Marty Wilhelm, who is very silly. And Mitch and him are always arguing. Ahhh that's soooo great. Of course, I forgot Russ Steiger, Mitch's boss, who is stupid, too. In the first book he had sex with a reporter, Paige Price, and she got information. So these three (Russ, Marty, Mitch) are the unholy trinity +lol+ It's so great when Mitch is discussing with Agent Wilhelm or Russ. Like this one:
Wilhelm: “It’s unethical. He’d get his ass disbarred.” Mitch shot him an impatient look. “You’re never heard of anonymous tips? Jesus Wilhelm, what were you - hatched yesterday?”
Ahh I love these conversations.
Okay, I think now I've talked enough...Probably I'll just talking to myself xD
