I am back!

So right now I'm back! That week was really awesome, but I think if I would tell you every detail I will not have finished by tomorrow...

We started on Saturday morning. With a problem. The bus did not arrived and the Teachers were phoning all the time and finally, one hour later, the bus arrived. The driver had overslept. Argh. We drove through Belgium (the autobahn there is funny: everywhere are street lights). At 9 o'clock in the evening we arrived and my host family, which, by the way, was very nice, picked me up. Food was quite strange but I was not very hungry anyway because I had eaten too much candy on the journey.
Sunday I slept late and in the afternoon we visited a little concert of a small orchestra where the best friend of my corres played. They had a clown but I didn't like him because I don't really like clowns, especially not when I don`t understand them.
Monday we went to an island. I was so very beautiful and we did a bike tour. Unfortunately it rainy and the bikes were not that good: 18 times a chain jumped off (hope you understand what I mean).
Tuesday was a holiday in France. Because of the end of war (capitulation of the German). My host mother asked me if it was a holiday in Germany too. Of course, we celebrate our own capitulation. Okay, maybe end of the war, but no. And then they asked me about polithics. Ahhh!! I seriously have no idea of that xD. We wanted to go to beach but the weather was too bad and so we went to the cinema and watched Spiderman 3. I am really proud: I got the story lol. Was not that difficult with the pictures and all.
Wednesday we went to market (with school not with the host family). I really don't like French markets because they sell living crabs and snails. But the market was cheap and I bought a watch for 5€. And they had really beautiful bags but I didn't buy one because I had not that much money and I wanted to keep some for Paris. After market we visited an oysters breed (hope that's the right word please correct me if it's wrong) and the man was talking so incredibily fast we did not understand anything. But our teacher translated. Puh.
After he had finished his more or less boring speech we could eat some oysters. The Teacher told us the last years just five or six had eaten one but this year already everybody ate one. I did, too. Argh. That's definitely not my favourite food.
Thursday we went to Nantes and then went by ship on the Loire to St Nazaire and that took two hours. Teachers said it would be interesting to watch the riverside (?) but I thought it was boring. Sometimes there appeared a building. Whoa! Sometimes a town. Yippie! And during those two hours all the time there was a man who talked in French about the things you could see. The only things we understood were "eglise" or "bonjour tout le monde". Wow.
Friday. Last day. Went to an island again. By bridge. There is a road to that island, leads through the sea, but you can only go there when it's low tide, logically. And that was not. We went to a beach there and the sun was shining. We thought: The others have to be teached in Physics and we are sunbathing on the beach. Haha!
We went to a place where salt was made and had to listen to another explanation. This time was little more interesting and we understood a little more but again the Teacher translated. Then we could all take some salt and "Fleur du sel" for our parents.
Saturday. We had to leave at 6h30. Everybody hugging.
Then, arrived at 13 o'clock at Paris. First we visited the Eiffel Tower. Then we went to Montmatre and Moulin Rouge with the metro. The sight was great from Montmatre and we had one hour freetime. There is that place where all the painters are who want to draw you, but I thought is was too expensive and took too much time. I did not buy anything there. Then we continued and went to Champs Elysees and to the Triumphal Arch. ( I'm not sure if thsi is the right order xD Maybe we went first to Champs Elysees and then...) Second freetime was at Lafayette. Ohh I'm so in love with Lafayette. But it's really to expensive for me :( So I didn't buy anything. And I needed something for my best friend and another friend. And for me of course. lol.
Went to Louvre, the Pyramide, Centre Pompidou. Next, last freetime. Now: powershopping xD But first the Teachers gave us Crêpes. And of course it took some time to make Crêpes for 34 people. Then we went to some souvenir shops. A friend bought 10 little Eiffel towers for 4€. I bought an Eiffel Tower-magnet and a T-Shirt in Converse-Look with Paris Star and Champs Elysees written on it for me and a little Eiffel Tower for The Friend and 6 magnets with angels for The best Friend.
Then we did that ship tour on the Seine. It took 1 hour and the woman who talked talked English too but in a very very French accent that I could not really understand her. The Eiffel Tower was so beautiful when he was sparkling. And Notre Dame was beautiful too. After the tour we had to walk to Notre Dame, to Point Zero. There were some artists juggling with fire hope you know what I mean. Was a great finish. Then the bus arrived and we seriously stuck in a traffic jam on Champs Elysees at midnight. For half an hour! And the streets were so full of people. Was so awesome. I slept nearly all of the time until we were home at 7h30 on Sunday.
