Mom: Some of them didn't even know who Tomas Edison is! I mean, don't they ever turn on a lightbulb and wonder what is this thing and how does it work?
Me: You use the computer without knowing everything about how it works.
Mom: Well I've had people try to explain it to me..circut boards and all that. There's a difference between not wondering and not knowing.
( or refusing to understand, I thought in my head)
I wonder...
Why am I staying on the ground? Why do I feel sleepy? Is this food real? Am I real....
You can't wonder about everything without going insane. I mean, somethings you just have to accept, on faith. I guess the trick is to consciously accept things, rather than just believe. Admit there are other possibilites.
