- library (Naoto + Shiori): Shiori "looked" at the tarot card and saw Yamano taking out a red envelope from a locker. And some thin metal beams falling on the floor. When she told this to Naoto, he came to the conclusion that Yamano is Amano.
- car (Ryo): He's holding a picture of himself with the guy at the flashback back in their teenage years. Then he said: "Your sister is doing well, Ryo." (THERE IT IS!!! What happened to the real Ryo however is still unclear. DX) Reporter is seen snapping pictures of Ryo from a distance.
- car (Kaoru + Naoto): (Toma is smoking!!!!) Naoto spots Yamano and proceeds to stalk the poor guy. Yamano goes to an underpass (I think).
- street (Ryo + reporter): Reporter is seen snapping photos of Ryo while he is on the phone.
- underpass? (Yamano + Naoto): Naoto is still stalking Yamano, Yamano is talking to someone on the phone parallel to Ryo also talking to someone on the phone. Yamano heads for the lockers. Naoto remembers Shiori's vision and suddenly grabs the red envelope that Yamano took from the locker. He proceeds to shred the envelope to determine the contents, only to find something else. Yamano takes his stuff back and walks away. Naoto follows suit and harrasses the poor guy. (I think he accused Yamano again, but Yamano just replied 'I don't know.') Somehow, Naoto freezes up from Yamano's words.
- street (Ryo + reporter): Reporter is still stalking Ryo. Ryo is still talking to someone using his mobile phone. He turns a corner and climbs the stairs. Reporter follows but Ryo is gone when he reaches the top of the stairs. Ryo comes out of his hiding place and looks troubled while looking at the reporter's retreating back.
- street (Ryo + Yamano): They are seated back-to-back. I think they were talking about the recent events surrounding Naoto. (Yamano seems pleased.) Yamano said something like... "It's because we (were/are) friends." and Ryo responds with a "I don't know.". Ryo asks a question, Amano replies, then Ryo stands up. (What the heck were they saying?! *weeps*)
- street (Eisaku + reporter): Eisaku is seen clutching at his chest. Reporter stops Eisaku from jogging to talk. I think the reporter is taunting Eisaku.
- phone (Eisaku + Hitoshi): I do not know what they talked about.
- hotel (Souda + Mari): Mari becomes silently anxious that Souda saw her. She spots Noriyoshi and quickly excuses herself to the washroom. Noriyoshi and Hitoshi met Souda. Noriyoshi looks for Mari, but Hitoshi quickly picks up the situation and says some to Noriyoshi and they continue walking. Souda however remarks on Hitoshi's "kanojo" girlfriend. At which, Hitoshi lashes out at Souda then leaves. He walks up to Noriyoshi and apologizes.
- washroom (Mari): Someone calls Mari.
- outside the hotel (Noriyoshi + Hitoshi): Noriyoshi said something about where Mari is (I think) and Hitoshi replies curtly, he closes the door and is seen to be obviously rattled by the almost-encounter with Souda.
- office: Police officers are seen running towards a room. The reporter is with a guy (a detective, I think) and says "So, it's a tarot card, huh?" and proceeds to drop money on the guy's pocket.
- police department (Kaoru + Naoto): Kaoru enters and exclaims 'Hold on! Another one from Amano Makoto?!" Naoto says he doesn't understand. He said a few more things I didn't catch.
- SHOWER SCENE! OH MY GOD GLORIOUS SHOWER SCENE! WHY SO SHORT!? KAJDF;ADLFK;ALKDF AND YET AGAIN, OHNO PUTTING ON HIS WHITE SHIRT IS HOTTER THAN THE SHOWER SCENE ITSELF!
- phone call (Shiori to Ryo): What Shiori said stopped Ryo.
- OPENING CREDITS: Still as awesome as ever!
- Coffee shop (Ryo + Shiori): Ryo storms to the coffee shop. Sora runs up to him, he sees her wounded and dirty. (The confusion in Ryo's face and eyes. OHMYGOD! If this was an act for Ryo's character, Ohno is damn good.) Sora was alone when she went to the coffee shop. Sora was crying and her tears dropped on Ryo's hand. Ryo looks positively shaken by the disturbed Sora.
- police department: Takashi figures out that EVIL is LIVE written backwards. Naoto proceeds to read Amano Makoto backwards but figures out that what he's reading isn't making sense. Kaoru realizes that it's an anagramm. (Change the arrangement of the letters and you get a new word)
- Shiori's room: Sora finally sleeps. Ryo asks Shiori if she isn't scared. Shiori admits to being scared. They talk about the children's story Ryo was telling Sora. Ryo looks confused. Shiori takes Dante's book "The Divine Comedy" and I think she said something about trying to find the message.
- police department: Naoto finally figures out what Amano Makoto stands for. Ryo's original name: Manaka Tomoo. Takashi explains to the chief that Manaka Tomoo is Hideo's older brother and is registered to be dead.
- coffee shop: Shiori tries to "look" at "The Divine Comedy" and collapses.
- Shiori's bedside (Ryo): Ryo flashes back images and words of Shiori. He attempts to touch her face, but stops when she says something.
- police?!: Naoto and Kaoru ask around about how Tomoo died.
- Shiori's bedside (Ryo): Shiori's keitai is ringing, Ryo decides to take it. It was Naoto. Naoto asks him why, Ryo explains that Shiori is out cold and that he's just answering in her place then hangs up. Shiori wakes up and finds Ryo standing by the window. Ryo asks her if she's okay. She apologizes, he says it's nothing. (THERE. IS. HEARTS. HERE!)
- field (reporter + ?): I did not understand this well... I think he's researching.
- street: Ryo walks Shiori to her door. Shiori apologizes again, but I think Ryo told her not to worry. As she was about to open the door, Ryo calls her, she turns around, Ryo looks conflicted with what he wants to say but manages a "oyasumi nasai" goodnight. Shiori says "oyasumi" too then goes inside. Ryo looks very very very conflicted. (I wonder what he wanted to say.)
- Red room: Ryo focuses on Naoto's picture again. Ryo is SCARY! (G-GOSH!)
- street: Hitoshi meets someone and asks him to enter the car. We see Eisaku in the backseat. (I think he wants the guy to take care of the pesky reporter).
- coffee shop: Naoto arrives. (SHIORI SO CUTE!!) Naoto was about to ask about Shiori passing out yesterday but was stopped by Shiori's friend offering snacks. Shiori asks about what happened to Naoto yesterday. He explains that Amano Makoto is the anagramm of Hideo's brother's name. He also explained how Tomoo suppossedly died. Shiori said that in her vision, she "saw" herself in a library corrider. She also explained something about what happened 11 years ago. (I think, something about being her the one to find Hideo and that was the first time her powers manifested?) Naoto apologized and explained that "at that time, he--" but stopped short and left.
- street (Naoto): Noto flashes back to 11 years ago. Apparently, when he "stabbed" Hideo, he didn't actually stabbed him. More like, he bluffed stabbing him but Hideo's weight fell on him which caused the stabbing.
- hotel: Eisaku asks Naoto to stop being a detective. Naoto tells his father not to worry.
- flashback: We see Naoto explaining something to his dad. They fight but Naoto is overpowered.
- hotel: Eisaku commands him to stop being a detective again. Naoto apologized for what happened before. I think Naoto is telling his dad how his being a detective is his way of finding redemption. (There is so much pain and hatred in Toma here. I AM IMPRESSED!) Naoto declares that his father has no faith in him.
- billiards hall: Naoto is almost drunk, Ryo approaches him and asks to sit with him. Ryo asks what is bother Naoto. Naoto says that he's being asked to stop being a cop. Ryo is fishing for information (maybe for a glimmer of repentance from naoto?) but we see him getting ticked off with what Naoto says. I think Ryo told him not to quit, and to catch up to the killer/mastermind soon. We see Ryo giving Naoto his one-sided creepy smile.
- hospital: Ryo's sister looks sad
- Ryo's office: Ryo enters and finds a stack of letters. Amidst the letters is a red envelope. He reaches for it and opens it. It contains a tarot card. Behind him, the reporter greets him good evening. Ryo's assistant enters the office, the reporter requests to talk to Ryo alone.
- rooftop: The reporter explains that he was somehow able to track down (the real?) Ryo's past. That Ryo was working with a friend before he died. The reporter explained his theory on how Tomoo claimed Ryo's identity when Ryo died. He then called Ryo "Manaka Tomoo".
OHGAHDS THE SUSPENSE!!!!!!!
I think this episode now pushed episode 2 as my favorite episode so far. Very nicely done! We see Ryo being human here + Naoto taking a stand against his dad and it's all wonderfully done too. Another shower scene is a bonus!
But more than that, the way that the story is progressing is pleasantly fast. Another twist to the story, in that Ryo's identity was stolen by Tomoo. I think that much was apparent in ep 04. I'm glad that it was kind of cleared up in this episode. Then another twist with Naoto NOT STABBING Hideo like we thought. OHGAHDS! I DON'T KNOW WHICH SIDE I AM WITH NOW!!! DX
I think that the reporter will be dead real soon. Not by Ryo's hands, more by Eisaku's hitman. And it would be convenient for both Ryo and Eisaku.
I have more thoughts on this, but it's 1 am. I'll post them up when I have time.

Today
I just got home, semi-drenched from the pouring rain. Taft is flooded! *cue horror* That worried me a lot. I thought I would be stranded or something. orz
So, lunch today was a mini-reunion of sorts for us ex-itxg people. It was Drei's christening and birthday! \o/
After that, I was somehow able to noogie abumelt into watching Dark Knight with me. Because I, honestly, want to know what all the fuzz is all about.
Verdict: Good
BEFORE YOU ALL GO PULLING YOUR KNIVES AT ME, LET ME EXPLAIN!!
The movie was good. There were impressive scenes. Heath Ledger put up a great performance as Joker. I think the casting people did an awesome job with the casting, overall. There were twists that surprised me, some even touched me. (I was going "My heaaaaart!" to Mel at some point.) But... I dunno, for me, it lacked something. Something I couldn't name. I will have to say that Iron Man and Transformers and Wanted and Hancock rank higher than Dark Knight for me. It may just be the dark plot and the overall theme of the movie. But I enjoyed more movies than this one. (I enjoyed the four movies that I mentioned immensely!)
If you liked it, well and good. I liked it too. I'm just not as impressed by it as I thought I would be. *shrugs*

All in all. This episode is my new favorite. I've seen 3 & 4 but still liked 2. This time... this episode is first on my list. ^^; Very nicely done. Maou people. SMOOTH! I LIKED IT! Fangirl approves. b(^_^)d

Today
I just got home, semi-drenched from the pouring rain. Taft is flooded! *cue horror* That worried me a lot. I thought I would be stranded or something. orz
So, lunch today was a mini-reunion of sorts for us ex-itxg people. It was Drei's christening and birthday! \o/
After that, I was somehow able to noogie abumelt into watching Dark Knight with me. Because I, honestly, want to know what all the fuzz is all about.
Verdict: Good
BEFORE YOU ALL GO PULLING YOUR KNIVES AT ME, LET ME EXPLAIN!!
The movie was good. There were impressive scenes. Heath Ledger put up a great performance as Joker. I think the casting people did an awesome job with the casting, overall. There were twists that surprised me, some even touched me. (I was going "My heaaaaart!" to Mel at some point.) But... I dunno, for me, it lacked something. Something I couldn't name. I will have to say that Iron Man and Transformers and Wanted and Hancock rank higher than Dark Knight for me. It may just be the dark plot and the overall theme of the movie. But I enjoyed more movies than this one. (I enjoyed the four movies that I mentioned immensely!)
If you liked it, well and good. I liked it too. I'm just not as impressed by it as I thought I would be. *shrugs*
