Through a gap of a slightly opened window, I'm holding out my hand, watching as snow flakes meet with my warm skin, melting away just seconds later. Smilingly, I pull my hand back in and close the window quietly before shuffling along to the kitchen, in where Nao's baking. How cute; his face is fully powdered by white flour.
"Naa, what're you baking?" I ask, placing my chin on his shoulder and wrapping my arms around his stomach.
Nao only laughs and continues kneading the dough, not getting disturbed although there's someone hanging onto him.
If I didn't care so much for him, I'd date him.
And he knows it.
"Nao-san..."
"Yes."
"It's snowing."

Sitting on the floor of our studio, back against the wall, I'm watching Tora tuning up his acoustic guitar, eyes drawn into concentrated slits.
He doesn't even notice I'm looking at him.
"Tora-san... Play something."
My voice, and especially my words, make him wince.
"Why?" he asks silently, eyeing me with a smile gracing his lips.
"Because I like it."

"Waa, that much snow..." Nao says admiringly, eyes fixed on the piles of snow outside. Hearing his excitement, I can't help giving a laugh.
"You like snow?" I ask with a quiet voice, now looking at the snow as well.
"More than anything..."
For a while we stand there, watching snow covering the landscape.
"Saga-kun, let's go out."
I smile as to agree to his request, and we direct our steps towards the door. When Nao's about to step out, I stop him by grabbing his hand.
"Wait..." I brush the flour from his confused face. "Good. Now we can go."

Tora lays his guitar gently on the floor.
"You liked it?" he seems cautious as he glances at me, like he was scared I'd reply with a no.
I'd never do that.
I nod and that's enough for him.
Actually, I liked it more than I am ready to imply.
"Tora-san... come sit here with me."
"Why?"
"Because I'm lonely."

We're both laying on our backs, surrounded by snow. I turn my head just enough to see Nao's flushed face. He's smiling gleefully and that's all I need.
I reach my hand a bit and brush the snow from his hair.
"Saga... thank you. For everything."
I let our fingers overlap. I give him a smile. "Anytime."

Tora lits a new cigarette. I'm simply enjoying he's there.
"You know, smoking gives you cancer?" I lean my head against his shoulder.
"Mmm."
I nod quietly. I steal the cigarette from him and draw smoke into my lungs. "Me too."
